EV range calculator

How far the charge in your battery should take you, adjusted for the way you drive.

Fills in what you leave blank, using figures published by the maker or EPA. Anything you type wins.

Your average from the dash or EVFolk. Blank uses the chosen car's published figure.

100 means the consumption above. Cold, fast driving, heating, a roof box or a trailer use more: try 70 to 90. Your own experience is the best guide.

Country, units and currency (Bangladesh)

Sets the usual units and currency, and the grid's CO2 where it applies. Press the button after changing it.

Your answer appears here Fill in what you know and press the button. Every assumption is shown next to the result.

How it works

Range = usable battery × charge level ÷ consumption × conditions. Consumption is energy per distance (for example 170 Wh/km is 17 kWh/100 km); conditions is a percentage you set. We don't ship preset winter or motorway numbers because they vary too much by car and trip: use your own logged average and adjust.

An estimate, not a promise. Leave a safety margin, especially in cold weather or where chargers are far apart.

Keep your numbers in EVFolk

The app does these sums for you from your real charges: what you spent, what you saved against petrol and the CO2 you avoided. Use it on the web today, or on your phone.
